Shuffle Table – Magnus Long and Viable Studio, 2007

The first two tables in this series are a low-level occasional table and a sofa table that fits around the arms of the sofa and is designed to accommodate a laptop. By offsetting the steel strips from which the table is made, each table is given strength and stability. The natural curvature of these strips results in parallel grooves running along the top surface, creating a subtle texture on the otherwise hard surface. Further options to follow.
