<p>Starts in 2003 as a non-profit organization, covering activities such as product and furniture design, as well as organizing and interior designing exhibitions.
<p>March 2007 Kiitos Design stablished as a creative studio. The association gives way to the company.
<p>Ana Pérez Aguilar and Eva del Cotillo Contrí are running Kiitos Design today.
<p>Our activity is Industrial Design, touching fields from furniture to interior design. Nowadays, our interests are those of an Industrial Design team: not just sticking to mere aesthetics, but looking for solutions to find a cleaner, more ecological, easier world; and in this sense, more beautiful.
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_3.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="351" alt="mueble_diseno_kiitos_3" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_3_thumb.jpg" width="468" border="0"></a>
<p><strong>Felt protective tablecloths<br /></strong>Made in contrasted colours felt. Upper layer is cut and joins the lower making one piece. Feel the textures, feel at home, feel yourself back at grandma&#8217;s&#8230;
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_2.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="351" alt="mueble_diseno_kiitos_2" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_2_thumb.jpg" width="468" border="0"></a>
<p><strong>Feel, felt, felt.<br /></strong>Felt cloths and rugs are inspired on those crochet table cloths that our grandma&#8217;s used to make and put everywhere. The protective function is still valuable, whilst its shape and view have been revisited. Felt are made out of coloured wool, in 1 mm layers for the tablecloths.
<p><strong><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_4.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="312" alt="mueble_diseno_kiitos_4" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_4_thumb.jpg" width="468" border="0"></a> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Roof carpet<br /></strong>Soft felt tiles give shape to a carpet made to dream or walk barefoot, to feel the warmth of wool in the coldest winter evenings. It suggests the idea of having a roof of our own, to look at the stars or the moon just inside of our living room. Wool felt gives resistance and durability to this carpet of soft and pleasant shapes.6 mm pieces are layered in a two-pitched roof. A soft and nice roof where to feel catlike. Roof is made in greyish blue for northern roofs and in dark orange for mediterranean ones.
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_6.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="312" alt="mueble_diseno_kiitos_6" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_6_thumb.jpg" width="468" border="0"></a> </p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/kiitos_design_2.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="788" alt="kiitos_design_2" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/kiitos_design_2_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a> </strong></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/kiitos_design_1.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="356" alt="kiitos_design_1" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/kiitos_design_1_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Luigi flowerpot &amp; candleholder<br /></strong>Stockable piece Luigi allows users to pass a flower through it as long as needed by adding more or less items. On the same time, the cuts on its base are not casual but are thought to hold a candle on them. Luigi can be rearranged at every moment to meet the needs of the user. </p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_1.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="312" alt="mueble_diseno_kiitos_1" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/mueble_diseno_kiitos_1_thumb.jpg" width="468" border="0"></a> </strong></p>
<p><strong>The Big Piece room divider<br /></strong>The big piece grows as much as needed, giving an organic and irregular look to the spaces. Three modular pieces on double corrugated cardboard, match like in a puzzle, so it&#8217;s simple to build a divider in minutes. The same plane can be generated in horizontal; this increases the constructive possibilities.
<p>The big piece is specially interesting for ephemeral spaces, being cardboard an ecological and cheap material.
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/lampara_kiitos_design.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="356" alt="lampara_kiitos_design" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/lampara_kiitos_design_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a>
<p>With the waste generated by the big piece, leftovers is created , a lamp with lots of little cardboard pieces that remind us the old classics in gold and crystal, but in a more accessible version.
<p>This couple philosophizes about use and waste products of today, and how we use long life materials to get tired of our furniture in few years. Please remember to recycle yours in the paper waste container.
<p><strong><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/kiitos_design_3.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="356" alt="kiitos_design_3" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/KiitosDesignENNUDE08_9C65/kiitos_design_3_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Taxi stools<br /></strong>The woolen felt balls upholstery for these stools is inspired in the taxi drivers massage seats, typical at least in Spain. The base was mechanized with a numerical control machine in a soft material for the prototype, but it can be made of wood, plastic or iron with different techniques. </p>
<p>This kind of upholstery gives the softnes of the inner foam and of the outer fabric in only one material, a natural one: wool.
<p><strong>Space Nude 2008<br /></strong>As well as furniture and objects, we like to work with ephemeral architecture. In nude08, we&#8217;ve tried to generate a neutral ambience in which every one of the 34 different projects was well supported by the space. On the other hand we wanted to give a touch, something that turned visitors heads towards the young designers&#8217; space. That&#8217;s the reason of the magenta lines around every greyscale space.
<p>Nude meeting point, in the center of the whole nude08, was a square thought to enjoy the talks organized by Lladró during the fair. The softblocks used as walls, improve the sound inside the square, avoiding every noise from the corridor. The mountain of cubes can be seen from far, announcing the space.

<p><b><i>A New Way</i></b><b><i> to dress up your House!</i></b>
<p><b></b>
<p>OAT presents innovative rugs in the bed headboard form, mirrors, commodes, credence’s, chairs and sofas, in version 2D being a success for the distinct nature of the collection.
<p>This new collection, created by João Rôlo for the OAT, is a new concept that consists of the transposition of the elements that normally associate with the floor, for the wall, using furniture forms for the rug drawing. Giving relevance to these rugs as if it would give to the furniture, saves space but not decorative function. It is a new form to dress your house.
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/RugsinformoffurniturebyJooRlo_9798/furniture_rugs_2.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img height="613" alt="furniture_rugs_2" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/RugsinformoffurniturebyJooRlo_9798/furniture_rugs_2_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a>
<p>In a Neo-classic inspiration, touching the Rococó style, this collection unites design to functionality and decoration transposing the reality, even so these new elements of decoration does not substitute the furniture. With Swarovski crystal this new concept of decoration results in a very elegant and contemporary image.
<p>This shows the versatility of the rug that can be adapted not only to the floor, but also to some areas. The rug is a more-value in the decoration.
<p>The OAT assumes each time more as the locomotive of this segment, being the partnership <b>Swarovski &#8211; OAT</b> a signal of the recognition that the brand has come to make in the international market.

<p><strong>UpDown Rug</strong>
<p>A visual play, your perception of this rug varies depending on your viewpoint. Stairs descending or rising, or from another angle maybe a screen, this two dimensional object suggests various familiar 3d forms. Designed with playful households and adventurous contract clients in mind.
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethUPDOWNRUG01300dpi.jpg" atomicselection="true" rel="lightbox"><img height="412" alt="DylanFreethUPDOWNRUG01-300dpi" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethUPDOWNRUG01300dpi_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a>
<p>Hand-tufted New Zealand wool, made to order, custom colours available
<p>2000L x 1000W
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethBETWEENRACK02300dpi.jpg" atomicselection="true" rel="lightbox"><img height="633" alt="DylanFreethBETWEENRACK02-300dpi" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethBETWEENRACK02300dpi_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a>
<p><strong>Between Coat Rack</strong>
<p>Wall-mounted hallway storage designed to also hold the smaller items not normally accommodated by a coat rack. The radiating pattern of large wire loops allows hanging of coats, brollies and bags. As the hoops converge towards the centre&shy; the wires get closer and closer, creating wedge-shaped spaces which comfortably grip small items such as gloves and hats between them. The spaces between the converging wires are as useful as the wire hangers themselves.
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethBETWEENRACK03300dpi.jpg" atomicselection="true" rel="lightbox"><img height="633" alt="DylanFreethBETWEENRACK03-300dpi" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethBETWEENRACK03300dpi_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a>
<p>Steel wire, powdercoat finish (Signal Red RAL3001), available to order
<p>522W x 245L x 257D
<p><strong><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethONDATABLE03300dpi.jpg" atomicselection="true" rel="lightbox"><img height="356" alt="DylanFreethONDATABLE03-300dpi" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethONDATABLE03300dpi_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a> </strong>
<p><strong>Onda Table</strong>
<p>Like the UpDown rug this low table creates an optical illusion. As you move around the table at certain points the surface seems to stretch or ripple. From certain angles the incremental spacing of the slats trick the eye into believing the surface is curved rather than flat.
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethONDATABLERACK300dpi.jpg" atomicselection="true" rel="lightbox"><img height="426" alt="DylanFreethONDATABLE RACK-300dpi" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethONDATABLERACK300dpi_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a>
<p>At its outer edges the density of the slats creates a near continuous surface to place cups and plates on. The centre, where slats are more widely spaced, is more suited to larger items (fruit bowls, magazines, books etc).
<p><a href="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethONDATABLE01300dpi.jpg" atomicselection="true" rel="lightbox"><img height="436" alt="DylanFreethONDATABLE01-300dpi" src="http://www.productdesignproject.com/media/albums/DylanFreethNewProducts_10A08/DylanFreethONDATABLE01300dpi_thumb.jpg" width="475" border="0"></a>
<p>Hand-crafted solid oak, available to order

<p><strong>Readers Block</strong>
<p>A simple compact side table and magazine rack. Two sizes of CNC routered plywood components are built up on their edges in a repeated pattern, creating a finely lined decorative table surface with storage voids and dividers underneath. Magazines rest directly on the floor, held upright between the larger vertical panels. Suitable for use throughout the home, whether living room, bedroom or loo!
<p>CNC routered birch plywood, available in two sizes
<p>156L x 175W x 430H/300L x 175W x 430H&shy;

<p>Valentina has designed a collection of funiture called &#8220;Le Uova di Leon&#8221; wich she presented in an independent space outside of the Milan Furniture Fair in 2006. This year, she will exhibit part of this collection together with some new designs at the Milan Furniture Fair in the section Satellite.</p>
